Update
The Chicago Journal posted a recap of the show that offers some great background info on the history of the event and what it means to the South Loop.
On Friday night the South Loop Neighbors held the 10th annual photo show reception at Dearborn Stations's Chicago Community Bank. The event was well attended with upwards of 70 folks celebrating amid jazz, champagne and photography.
The judges, Gregory Foster-Rice, Ron Gordon and Roland Miller awarded the work they felt best exemplified the lifestyle, culture or history of the South Loop. There were 4 tiers of prizes:
- (1) Grand Prize - $500
- (1) First Prize - $250
- (1) Second Prize - $100
- (4) Greeting Card Prize - $50
